It would be good, but the minimum order is 100 badges at £0.69 each. Plus £32 for the tool set up. All + VAT
Would there be 100 takers?

I hope not, that means I would have to check the site more often Laughing
We looked at this before, and Fishybarney came up with a design, he has a sweatshirt with the logo on it, problem is this site has tried to do the name change and the URL never worked. I cant sort it and GK is never about.
Not sure what is going to happen with it yet regarding ownership, so its all up in the air.
Might be worth sitting on it for a while until its clear whats happening, I cant take the site forward if I'm not the outright owner. Nor do I want to be paying for the hosting if I dont own it.

Tony

May be able to help on site hosting, as you know I had probs with my sites. It all depends on how big the site is, upto 5000mb....free. If a paid host is required, why not the sponsers, for free advertising. If you don't ask, you don't find out.
The other way, is "Site supporters", who donate a small sum.
I like the idea of a "motif" of some description and I don't think, to pay £1.50 for 1 is out of the way.
I understand your problem Tony, just wish GK could give some more input, but if you need any help, give us a shout
Dave

ps
Whats happend to GK anyway? Hope all ok.

I'm not one for wearing pins or badges but would buy one to support the forum and make up the numbers, but I have just looked through the members list and there are only 14 who have more than 200 posts.
I know post count is nothing to go on but if it is an indication of active members then I think selling 100 pins would be hard work.

But that said. if sombody was to order them I would buy a few.

Cheers ozone

Cheers for the support chaps, we do have a lot of traffic but its mostly people reading our banter and serious topics. I am looking into the possibilty of having a Google Ads bar on the site, with enough clicks it could generate enough revenue to keep things going. I will contnue to pay the hosting for now and then if things buck up I will promote the site a bit more.
We have a lot of members who drift between sites and its fine, freedom of movement is cool here, I dont get miffy about links to other sites who allow links to here, its a back scratching exercise after all.
The current advertisers have all paid thier dues and I need to find out when the renewals are due. A few clicks on thier sites now and again show traffic is flowing, so maybe they will want to renew the deal or do more.
Any adds put on the site will be orientated around our hobbies and past times, not any old junk thats irrelevant.

Tony
