For those that may be interested, Maxum, Rugby and District Trap Club are holding an informal Helice (ZZ) shoot on the above date. I think practise starts at 09:45 with the comp at 11:00.

I'm going to be there so may see you too.

Andy

Went to Rugby on Sat for the Helice comp and it didn't go to well. managed a dismal 10 ex 20 along with Nic Heron!! There was a right to left strong wind blowing which meant that anything from traps 1,2,3 and on occassions 4 went left at a great rate of knots and was carried out of the fence even if you hit it and most did with the first barrel.I think my score should have been 15ish with the ones that were hit and broke out the white but due to their height were carried off by the wind. A chip or break of the target does not count only ones where the white centre is broken out and lands within the boundary fence.

Still we had a good laugh and joke and ED. S won after a shoot off, he scored 16 but actually only missed one target completely all the others where first barrell hits but with the white being carried out.
